STUDENT

I am  a fourth-year Mechatronics Engineering student at the University of Cape Town, with a strong passion for control systems, biomedical technology, and artificial intelligence. Over the course of my studies, I have built a solid foundation in both hardware and software design, gaining extensive experience in C, Python, JavaScript and Java programming, as well as in the use of embedded systems such as STM32 , raspberry pi microcontrollers. My academic journey has also been enriched by various practical projects, ranging from electronic circuit design and signal processing to advanced control applications, where I successfully integrated sensors, actuators, and algorithms to solve real-world engineering challenges.

Beyond my coursework, I have applied my skills through tutoring roles in computer science and collaborative engineering projects, where I developed both technical expertise and teamwork abilities. I am especially motivated by opportunities that merge theoretical knowledge with practical innovation, and I aim to leverage my skills towards impactful solutions in robotics, automation, and intelligent systems. As I progress through my final year, I am excited to expand my research interests, gain professional experience, and contribute meaningfully to the field of engineering through both academic and industry-driven initiatives.
